The Sweet Ones (Doug Cote, Matty Brundrett, Mikey Straus) have released a music video for their single “Kids At The Bottom”. The footage was recorded at the scene of the Occupy Wall Street protest by Cote. Check it out below!

“The song was written after a tour. I was really touched by going to these small towns where the kids don’t have a lot of options. GM plants had closed, moms and dads laid off, and the bands that come through bring with them a bonding and up-lifting vibe and unite the kids,” explains the singer.

“The kids of Occupy Wall Street embody that same frustration and they bring that same creative spirit and unititng energy so I shot this to help tell their story. I don’t like the way the media has been portraying these kids and I hope this video will show that the kids are talented and creative and fighters.”
