Join The Team

In order to become a part of our illustrious and eclectic team, you have to take some time and ponder the following. Remember, be honest with yourself guys and gals!

Do you want to write:

Music news?
Album reviews?
Concert/show reviews?
Editorials?
Spotlight pieces?
About how hard Eburban rocks?

Do you want to simply suggest:

Artists/Bands?
Venues of musical interest?
Shows/Concerts/Events?
Anything at all random?
A plausible explanation as to why Eburban rocks?

So can you:

Point-blank, write?
Dedicate chunks of time to do said writing?
Listen to and think of music every day?
Tell the general population that Eburban rocks? Hard-core?
Still love writing about music after all that?

Or do you just need to:

  1. First off, since hearing you guys for the first time over a year ago, I have not listened to another band on my iPod thus rendering my entire music collection useless. You guys rock and I listen an average of 4 hours per day.

I have a suggestion that I think would make the music sound better. Please turn the keyboard down. When he (fucking Joel) hits those high shrill notes, it hurts my ears and he is putting out more sound than the rest of the band. I don’t see this on the albums, only the live podcasts. Proof that it is a problem is my grand-daughters first words were “fucking Joel!” which I tend to say as I reach for the remote to turn it down. Love what he plays but he needs to learn that less is more.

I tell everyone about you guys and actually buy your albums. Mantis is a master piece of music. The complexity of the music keeps me from ever getting tired of it. It switches my brain on instead of the usual off that the typical music does by design.

    Sincerely,

A HUGE FAN with hearing loss in my right ear due to “FUCKING JOEL!”

    PS – Notes

That Cars tune (My girlfriend is better) on podcast (about 109 or 110) was pure genius – every aspect from the keys to the plucky notes.

Your bass player is the God of the musical under scale / world. Turn that up please. I can’t get enough of that bass and those two electric guitars.

  2. just want to promote you if I can
