The New Amsterdams Announce First Show In 4 Years

The New Amsterdams have announced their first concert in over four years. The band will reunite at the Jackpot Music Hall in their hometown of Lawrence, Kansas on March 23. They will be joined by Nate Hofer on pedal steel and Dave Wetzel on keys, and opening act Old Canes.

“I’ve been wanting to do a New Ams gig with Old Canes for ages. I’ve been so busy with The Get Up Kids and solo stuff that we haven’t had time to do it,” said Pryor. “Since it was Crici (Old Canes) and my birthdays right around there we decided to do it now. So, in a sense it’s actually our birthday parties.”
