Music can’t always be crammed into neat, little individual boxes, then simply left at that. There comes a time when a good fraction of those annoyingly labeled squares just need to get tossed and make room for something messier, and a lot more stimulating.
We believe in music, wholeheartedly, so everything we do, from the artists we interview, to the albums we review, is nothing short of a labor of pure love. Therefore, what better way to assert our infatuation than to share it with all the music-junkies, groupies, djs, amateurs, dancers, writers, and bona fide musicians out there.
Music-dabbling is essentially what we do, and even more essentially, it’s what puts us on our own level of cool; rock, folk, country, funk, electronica, pop, blues, trip-hop…we want to take in as much as possible daily, just so we can stop and start the ride all over again.
We don’t pit mainstream and underground (and all that’s in between) against each other. We’re open to music, period, albeit with the stipulation that it sounds and feels G double O D. That’s the key qualification an artist or a band need to score a place in our mad-house of musical assimilation, only recognizable as Everything But Urban, or, Eburban.
Please, get your mind and ears familiar with us, and the easy part, just get into the music.
